As the exclusive Vietnamese partner of CARPL.ai - the U.S. platform representing business democratization among AI technology providers and hospitals, VinBrain was honored to attend AOCNR & SGCR WIRES 2023. This was the largest annual scientific conference gathering the radiology community in Singapore and internationally, with the theme "Radiology: Driving Innovation, Enhancing Longevity." This year's conference was co-organized by the Association of Neuro and Head & Neck Radiology and the Asian-Pacific Society of Head and Neck Radiology.
During the three days of discussions (August 18-20), experts from leading medical countries such as Singapore, North America, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand came together to address the current status of AI solutions in radiology and cardiology in real-world implementation. These discussions highlighted the gap between the number of real-world AI solutions deployed and the total number of FDA-approved solutions worldwide over the past few years.
Participation in this series of educational workshops, scientific discussions, and advanced technology exhibitions provided VinBrain's organization with a deeper understanding of the latest advancements in X-ray technology and the acceptance of AI by Southeast Asian radiologists. This insight allows VinBrain to build an effective strategy and gain a significant competitive advantage in its quest to become the leading healthcare technology company in the Southeast Asian market by 2025.
At the conference, VinBrain attracted and connected with various local experts, such as Dr. Charlotte, Head of AI Deployment at Changi Hospital (Singapore's largest government hospital), as well as the Canon Medical Systems. Canon expressed interest in AI solutions for liver cancer, as their CT machines currently perform liver segmentation but lack the capability to classify and segment tumors.
As a representative of advanced AI technology solutions, VinBrain's CEO, Truong Quoc Hung, reaffirmed the company's core mission: standardizing, simplifying, and automating AI in medical imaging diagnostics. The DrAid™ cutting-edge platform aims to make radiologists and patients the central focus. It enables multi-modal medical image analysis and automatic detailed report generation, with a focus on advancing research and building AI solutions for abnormal lung diagnosis and cancer diagnosis and treatment. While new competitors are gearing up, VinBrain has been at the forefront of the data management revolution, focusing on hospitals and healthcare organizations to design AI-based enterprise platforms, enhancing operational efficiency, innovating services, and supporting comprehensive digital transformation.
